- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for inpatient clients to determine treatment needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based individual and group therapy to address a variety of mental health concerns and promote emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for inpatient clients.
- Monitor and document client progress and treatment outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Utilize crisis intervention techniques and provide support to clients experiencing acute mental health crises.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards when working with clients and their treatment information.
- Educate clients and their families on mental health disorders, treatment options, and coping strategies.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences to provide input on treatment plans and progress.
- Stay up-to-date on best practices and evidence-based therapies in the field of mental health to ensure high-quality care for clients.
- Provide support and guidance to other staff members, such as interns and support staff, as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with insurance companies and other third-party payers to obtain authorization for services and ensure timely reimbursement.
- Adhere to all legal and ethical guidelines and regulations related to mental health treatment.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment for clients, colleagues, and team members.
Master's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Or Counseling From An Accredited Institution.
State Licensure Or Certification As A Mental Health Professional (I.e. Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage And Family Therapist).
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Providing Therapy In An Inpatient Or Residential Treatment Setting.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Evidence-Based Therapeutic Approaches And Ability To Implement Them In Treatment Plans For Patients.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Multidisciplinary Treatment Team And Provide Support To Patients And Their Families.
