- Greet and welcome members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls and inquiries, providing accurate and helpful information.
- Assist with membership sign-ups and renewals, ensuring all necessary paperwork and payments are completed accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including restocking supplies and keeping the lobby area presentable.
- Schedule appointments and manage class registrations for members.
- Handle any customer concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the front desk.
- Be knowledgeable about the services and programs offered at the Health & Fitness Center, and effectively communicate this information to members and guests.
- Maintain confidentiality of member and guest information.
- Uphold the highest standard of customer service, ensuring all interactions are positive and professional.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety and security protocols.
- Continuously strive to improve and enhance the member and guest experience.
- Attend staff meetings and trainings as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Front Desk Supervisor or management team.
Excellent Communication Skills: A Front Desk Representative At A Health & Fitness Center Should Possess Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills In Order To Greet And Assist Guests, Answer Phone Calls, And Communicate Effectively With Members And Staff.
Knowledge Of Health & Fitness Industry: It Is Important For A Front Desk Representative To Have A Basic Understanding Of Health And Fitness In Order To Provide Accurate Information To Members And Assist Them With Their Inquiries.
Customer Service Orientation: This Role Requires A High Level Of Customer Service As The Front Desk Representative Will Be The First Point Of Contact For Members And Guests. They Should Be Friendly, Approachable, And Have The Ability To Handle Conflicts Or Complaints In A Professional Manner.
Computer Skills: With The Use Of Technology In Most Health And Fitness Centers, It Is Important For A Front Desk Representative To Have Basic Computer Skills And Be Proficient In Using Software Such As Microsoft Office And Membership Management Systems.
Multitasking Abilities: A Front Desk Representative At A Health & Fitness Center Should Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously, Such As Checking In Members, Answering Phone Calls, And Responding To Emails.
