
Clinical Documentation Integrity Manager
At LifePoint Health, we are looking for a Clinical Documentation Integrity Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a healthcare background, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for helping to ensure accuracy in clinical documentation. The Clinical Documentation Integrity Manager will be responsible for managing the development, implementation, and oversight of the organization’s clinical documentation improvement (CDI) program. This role requires a thorough knowledge of legal, regulatory, and clinical documentation requirements, as well as the ability to work effectively with physicians, coders, and other healthcare professionals.The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with at least 1 year of experience in a CDI role. A Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Health Administration, or a related field is preferred. A Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT) certification is highly desirable. Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee the organization’s CDI program.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and clinical documentation requirements.
- Work effectively with physicians, coders, and other healthcare professionals.
- Evaluate clinical documentation and make necessary corrections.
- Monitor and audit CDI performance metrics.
- Provide training and education on documentation improvement activities.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve accuracy and integrity in clinical documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
- Prepare and present reports and analyses to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure that all documentation meets quality standards.
