- Provide rehabilitative services to patients in a compassionate and patient-centered manner.
- Collaborate with occupational therapists to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatments as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to educate them about their treatment and progress.
- Stay current on industry trends and updates in occupational therapy techniques.
- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in the provision of patient care.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients during therapy sessions.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans.
- Continuously assess and improve own performance to provide the best care for patients.

Associate's Degree In Occupational Therapy Assistant Program: A Cota-Prn Candidate At Lifepoint Health Must Have Completed An Accredited Associate's Degree Program In Occupational Therapy Assistant (Ota).
Current State Licensure: The Applicant Must Possess A Valid License To Practice As A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant In The State Where Lifepoint Health Facility Is Located.
Prior Experience: Lifepoint Health Prefers Candidates With At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience Working As A Cota In A Healthcare Setting. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Strong Understanding Of The Role And Responsibilities Of A Cota.
Knowledge Of Relevant Regulations And Guidelines: A Successful Cota-Prn Candidate Must Have A Strong Knowledge Of State And Federal Regulations Related To Occupational Therapy Practice, As Well As Guidelines Set By Professional Organizations Such As The American Occupational Therapy Association (Aota).
Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: Since A Cota-Prn Will Work Closely With Other Healthcare Professionals And Patients, Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills Are Essential. The Candidate Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Their Families, And Other Members Of The Healthcare Team To Provide Quality Care.
