  1. Provide exceptional patient care: The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and families at FryeCare Hickory Family.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification From An Accredited Medical Assistant Program: A Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Must Have Completed An Accredited Medical Assistant Program And Passed The Certification Exam Administered By The American Association Of Medical Assistants (Aama).

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Procedures: A Cma Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Procedures In Order To Effectively Assist Physicians And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Experience In A Clinical Setting: A Cma Must Have Previous Experience Working In A Clinical Setting, Such As A Doctor's Office Or Hospital, To Be Familiar With Medical Equipment, Procedures, And Patient Care.

  • Proficiency In Electronic Medical Records (Emr): With The Increasing Use Of Electronic Medical Records, It Is Essential For A Cma To Be Proficient In Using Emr Systems To Document Patient Information Accurately And Efficiently.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Cma, One Must Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals In A Fast-Paced Environment. This Includes Being Able To Communicate Clearly And Compassionately With Patients And Handle Sensitive Information With Confidentiality.
