
Administrative Assistant CNO

- Provide administrative support to the Chief Nursing Officer and the nursing department.
- Maintain the CNO's calendar and schedule appointments, meetings, and conference calls.
- Coordinate and schedule travel arrangements for the CNO.
- Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and other relevant materials.
- Act as a liaison between the CNO and other team members, departments, and external stakeholders.
- Create and maintain organized and accurate electronic and physical filing systems.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of reports and presentations.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and communications on behalf of the CNO.
- Monitor and respond to emails and phone calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate and plan events and meetings for the nursing department.
- Order and maintain office supplies and equipment for the nursing department.
- Assist with budget tracking and expense reporting for the nursing department.
- Conduct research and gather data as requested by the CNO.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proactively identify and address any administrative issues or concerns in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other administrative assistants and team members to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Continuously seek opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments related to healthcare and nursing.
- Represent the nursing department and the organization in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Strong Administrative Skills: An Administrative Assistant Cno Should Possess Excellent Organizational, Time Management, And Multitasking Abilities. They Must Be Able To Efficiently Handle Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Their Workload In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Experience In Healthcare Industry: A Candidate For This Position Should Have Previous Experience Working In The Healthcare Industry, Preferably In A Hospital Setting. This Will Demonstrate Their Understanding Of The Unique Challenges And Regulations Of The Healthcare Field.
Knowledge Of Nursing Policies And Procedures: As An Administrative Assistant Cno, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Assisting The Chief Nursing Officer In Managing The Nursing Department. Therefore, They Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Nursing Policies And Procedures.
Excellent Communication Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Both Internal And External Stakeholders. They Must Also Have Strong Interpersonal Skills To Maintain Positive Working Relationships With The Nursing Staff And Other Departments.
Proficiency In Ms Office: The Candidate Should Be Proficient In Using Microsoft Office Programs, Including Word, Excel, And Powerpoint. They Should Also Be Familiar With Electronic Medical Record Systems And Other Healthcare-Specific Software.
