- Maintain accurate and timely financial records and reports for LifePoint Health
- Perform detailed analysis of financial data to identify trends and variances
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Collaborate with other members of the finance team to develop and implement financial strategies
- Communicate financial information to key stakeholders, including senior management and external auditors
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues in financial data
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes and procedures
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations

Bachelor's Degree In Accounting Or Related Field: A Strong Educational Background In Accounting Is Essential For An Accountant Financial Accounting Role At Lifepoint Health. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Solid Understanding Of Financial Principles And Practices.
Certified Public Accountant (Cpa) Designation: A Cpa Designation Is Highly Preferred For This Role, As It Demonstrates A High Level Of Knowledge And Expertise In Financial Accounting. It Also Shows A Commitment To Professional Development And Staying Current With Industry Regulations And Standards.
Prior Experience In Financial Accounting: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Financial Accounting, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting. This Experience Should Include Preparing Financial Statements, Analyzing Financial Data, And Ensuring Compliance With Regulatory Requirements.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: An Accountant Financial Accounting Must Have Strong Analytical Skills To Interpret Financial Data And Identify Trends Or Discrepancies. They Should Also Be Able To Use Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills To Resolve Complex Financial Issues.
