  1. Lead and manage a team of underwriters responsible for evaluating and assessing environmental risks.
  2. Develop and implement underwriting strategies and guidelines to effectively manage environmental risks.
  3. Ensure timely and accurate underwriting decisions are made by the team.
  4. Continuously monitor and analyze market trends and developments in the environmental insurance industry.
  5. Oversee the development and maintenance of strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  6. Collaborate with other departments such as claims, legal, and risk control to develop comprehensive risk management solutions.
  7. Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in environmental underwriting.
  8. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  9. Participate in industry events and conferences to stay updated on industry developments and trends.
  10. Evaluate and assess complex environmental risks and make sound underwriting decisions.
  11. Review and approve underwriting referrals from team members.
  12. Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify areas for improvement for team members.
  13. Collaborate with other senior leaders to develop and implement environmental sustainability initiatives.
  14. Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and agents to drive business growth.
  15. Represent the company in external meetings and negotiations with clients and industry stakeholders.

  • Extensive Experience In Underwriting Environmental Insurance Products: A Senior Underwriting Manager Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Environmental Insurance Market And A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Underwriting Complex Risks In This Field.
