  4. Investigate and evaluate claims to determine liability and damages.
  5. Communicate with all parties involved in the claims process, including policyholders, attorneys, and other insurance professionals.

  7. Maintain accurate and detailed claim records.
  8. Stay updated on industry developments and changes in construction laws and regulations.
  9. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and concerns.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Construction Defect Claims Handling: A Senior Technical Claims Specialist Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of The Construction Industry And The Various Types Of Construction Defects That Can Occur. They Should Be Well-Versed In Relevant Laws And Regulations, As Well As Industry Best Practices For Investigating And Settling Construction Defect Claims.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Senior-Level Role, This Position Requires The Ability To Analyze Complex Claims And Make Sound Decisions Based On Thorough Research And Investigation. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Identify And Evaluate Potential Coverage Issues, Assess Liability And Damages, And Negotiate Settlements With Contractors, Subcontractors, And Other Parties Involved In Construction Defect Claims.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills: This Role Involves Frequent Communication With Various Stakeholders, Including Policyholders, Attorneys, And Other Insurance Professionals. A Senior Technical Claims Specialist Should Be Able To Clearly And Effectively Communicate Complex Information To Non-Technical Individuals, As Well As Negotiate Favorable Outcomes For The Company And Its Clients.

  • Experience In Managing High-Value Claims: Liberty Mutual Insurance Is A Leading Provider Of Property And Casualty Insurance, And The Senior Technical Claims Specialist Will Be Responsible For Managing Complex And High-Value Construction Defect Claims. Therefore, Candidates Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Handling Large And Complex Claims, Including Experience With Litigation Management And Alternative Dispute Resolution Methods.
