- Conduct thorough investigations of property claims and determine coverage and liability based on policy terms and conditions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to customer inquiries and concerns and maintaining open communication throughout the claims process.
- Evaluate damages and negotiate settlements with customers, contractors, and other parties involved in the claim.
- Develop and maintain relationships with various stakeholders, including policyholders, agents, and other insurance professionals.
- Utilize extensive knowledge of insurance policies and industry standards to accurately assess and document claims.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as underwriting and legal, to ensure efficient and effective claims handling.
- Maintain accurate and detailed claim files and documentation in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments, trends, and regulations to continuously improve claims handling processes.
- Mentor and train junior adjusters to improve their technical skills and knowledge.
- Represent the company in a professional manner, adhering to ethical and legal standards at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Insurance, Business, Or Finance.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Property Claims Adjusting, Preferably In A Senior Or Leadership Role.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Property Insurance Policies, Coverage, And Industry Regulations.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Make Sound Decisions And Negotiate Effectively.
Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Handle Complex And High-Value Claims.
