We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our Investments Technology team. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving our investment strategies and decision-making through the development and maintenance of data pipelines and analysis tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with a deep understanding of financial markets and investment strategies.   1. Develop and maintain data pipelines and analysis tools to support investment strategies and decision-making.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and gaps, and design solutions to address them.
  3. Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing data quality checks and monitoring processes.
  4. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data engineering and financial markets to continuously improve processes and tools.
  5. Work closely with investment professionals to understand their data needs and provide timely and accurate data solutions.
  6. Utilize data visualization techniques to effectively communicate complex data and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
  8. Develop and maintain technical documentation for data pipelines and analysis tools.
  9. Mentor and guide junior data engineers in the team.
  10. Participate in the evaluation and selection of new technologies and tools to enhance data engineering processes.
  11. Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure data privacy and security protocols are followed.
  12. Proactively identify opportunities for automation and optimization of data processes.
  13. Communicate project status and escalate issues or risks as needed.
  14. Act as a subject matter expert on data engineering and financial markets for the team and the organization.
  15. Embrace a continuous learning mindset and contribute to the overall growth and success of the team and the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Data Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Data Engineering Role, Preferably In The Finance Or Investment Industry.

  • Expertise In Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, And Etl Processes.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Sql, Python, And Java.

  • Strong Understanding Of Cloud-Based Technologies, Specifically Aws, And Experience Working With Large Datasets.
