  1. Analyze and evaluate complex bodily injury claims to determine coverage, liability, and damages.
  2. Communicate effectively and professionally with policyholders, attorneys, and other stakeholders to provide updates and negotiate settlements.
  3. Utilize knowledge of insurance policies, regulations, and industry best practices to accurately determine claim coverage and make decisions on claims.
  4. Investigate and gather all necessary information to properly evaluate and process claims.
  5. Collaborate with internal and external parties, such as medical professionals, legal counsel, and investigators, to gather information and support the resolution of claims.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claim activities and decisions.
  7. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and concerns from policyholders.
  8. Participate in training and development activities to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  9. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness in claim resolution.
  10. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  11. Mentor and train junior claims professionals to develop their skills and knowledge.
  12. Handle and manage a large caseload while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.
  13. Demonstrate strong decision-making skills and the ability to work independently to resolve complex claims.
  14. Remain up-to-date on industry and market trends to effectively adapt to changing business environments.
  15. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the claims department.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Handling Complex Bodily Injury Claims, Including Litigation Management And Settlement Negotiations.

  • Thorough Understanding Of State Insurance Laws, Regulations, And Procedures Related To Bodily Injury Claims.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Make Sound Decisions And Recommendations.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Customers, Legal Representatives, And Internal Stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field, Such As Insurance, Business, Or Law. Additional Certifications Or Designations (E.g. Cpcu, Aic) Are Preferred.
