  1. Oversee and manage all accounting functions for Liberty Mutual Insurance, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and financial stability.
  2. Lead and direct a team of accountants, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure their success and development.
  3. Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  4. Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision making.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting processes and increase efficiency.
  6. Monitor and review financial data and transactions to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
  7. Maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continually improve and enhance the company's accounting practices.
  8. Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end close processes.
  9. Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support as needed.
  10. Foster a culture of integrity, excellence, and collaboration within the accounting team and across the organization.
  11. Represent Liberty Mutual Insurance in a professional and positive manner, both internally and externally, at all times.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth, and actively contribute to the overall success and growth of the company.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Senior Accounting Or Finance Role.

  • Certified Public Accountant (Cpa) Designation.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Gaap And Financial Reporting Requirements.

  • Experience In The Insurance Industry Preferred.
