  1. Provide expert legal representation for insured clients in a variety of litigation matters.
  2. Conduct thorough research and analysis of complex legal issues related to insurance defense.
  3. Develop and implement effective legal strategies to defend clients and protect their interests.
  4. Prepare and present persuasive arguments in court, mediation, and arbitration proceedings.
  5. Effectively manage a caseload and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  6. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the litigation process.
  7. Collaborate with internal teams, including claims adjusters and underwriters, to develop effective defense strategies.
  8. Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends related to insurance defense.
  9. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys and legal support staff.
  10. Maintain accurate and detailed case files and documentation.
  11. Represent the company and its values in a professional manner at all times.
  12. Continuously strive to improve and enhance legal processes and procedures.
  13. Adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information.
  14. Attend and participate in professional development and training opportunities.
  15. Collaborate with outside counsel when necessary to effectively represent clients.
  16. Act as a brand ambassador for Liberty Mutual Insurance and uphold the company's reputation for excellence in legal services.

Job Qualifications
  • A Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree And Active Membership In Good Standing With The State Bar Association.

  • At Least 5 Years Of Experience Practicing Law With A Focus On Insurance Defense Litigation.

  • A Strong Understanding Of Insurance Law, Regulations, And Industry Standards.

  • Proven Trial Experience And A Track Record Of Success In Defending Insurance Clients In Court.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Represent The Company's Interests In Complex Legal Matters.
