Job Description

At Liberty Mutual, our Global Internal Audit team plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of our operations worldwide. As a co-op member on this team, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in risk assessment, audit planning, and execution while collaborating with experienced professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment.   1. Conduct risk assessments and identify potential areas of risk within the company's operations.
  2. Collaborate with experienced professionals to develop and implement audit plans.
  3. Execute audits and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and processes.
  4. Identify and communicate findings and recommendations to management.
  5. Participate in discussions and meetings with various departments and teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company's operations.
  6. Assist in the development and maintenance of audit policies and procedures.
  7. Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
  8. Document and maintain accurate records of audit findings and recommendations.
  9. Participate in special projects and assignments as needed.
  10. Act as a resource and provide support to other team members.
  11. Act with integrity and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Knowledge Of Internal Audit Principles And Methodologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Internal Audit Processes And Techniques, Including Risk Assessment, Controls Testing, And Audit Reporting.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Global Internal Audit Co-Op, The Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Abilities To Effectively Identify And Address Potential Risks And Control Deficiencies.

  • Familiarity With International Regulations And Standards: Liberty Mutual Insurance Operates In Multiple Countries, So The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of International Regulations And Auditing Standards To Ensure Compliance.
