- Assess and investigate property damage claims reported by policyholders.
- Conduct on-site inspections and gather evidence to accurately determine the extent of property damage.
- Review and analyze insurance policies to determine coverage and liability.
- Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, and other involved parties to gather information and clarify details of the claim.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to policyholders during the claims process.
- Evaluate and negotiate claim settlements in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Document all aspects of the claims process, including investigation findings, claim decisions, and settlement amounts.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure a smooth and efficient claims process.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to property claims.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all claim activities and expenses.
- Identify and report potential fraud or suspicious claims.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Adhere to company standards and guidelines for quality and productivity.
- Travel to various locations to conduct inspections and meet with policyholders.
- Uphold the company's values and promote a positive image in all interactions with policyholders and colleagues.
Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In A Field Such As Business, Finance, Or Insurance Is Typically Required For A Field Property Claims Adjuster Position At Liberty Mutual.
Relevant Work Experience: Previous Experience In Insurance, Claims Adjusting, Or A Related Field Is Highly Desirable For This Role. Candidates With Experience In Property Claims Handling Will Be Given Preference.
Strong Communication Skills: As A Field Property Claims Adjuster, You Will Be Interacting With A Variety Of People, Including Policyholders, Contractors, And Legal Professionals. Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.
