- Conduct thorough investigations of complex commercial liability claims to determine coverage, liability, and damages.
- Evaluate and analyze claims data, including medical records, witness statements, and legal documents, to make accurate and fair liability determinations.
- Communicate with policyholders, attorneys, and other stakeholders to gather information and provide updates on claim status.
- Manage a caseload of high exposure and complex claims, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
- Identify potential fraud or suspicious activity and take appropriate action.
- Negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys in a professional and effective manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as underwriting and legal, to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed claim records and provide updates to management and other stakeholders as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, legal developments, and best practices related to complex casualty claims.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and addressing concerns from policyholders and other stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality of claims handling.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to junior claims associates as needed.
- Adhere to company guidelines and regulatory requirements to ensure ethical and compliant claims handling.

In-Depth Knowledge Of Complex Casualty Claims Handling: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Complex Casualty Insurance Policies, Including General Liability, Workers' Compensation, And Commercial Auto.
Extensive Experience In Claims Investigation And Resolution: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Handling Complex Casualty Claims, With A Proven Track Record Of Effectively Investigating And Resolving High-Value And Multi-Party Claims.
Strong Negotiation And Communication Skills: As A Complex Casualty Claims Specialist, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Negotiating With Multiple Parties Involved In A Claim, Including Attorneys, Medical Professionals, And Other Insurance Companies. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills Are Essential.
