  1. Conduct thorough investigations of complex commercial liability claims to determine coverage, liability, and damages.
  2. Evaluate and analyze claims data, including medical records, witness statements, and legal documents, to make accurate and fair liability determinations.
  3. Communicate with policyholders, attorneys, and other stakeholders to gather information and provide updates on claim status.
  4. Manage a caseload of high exposure and complex claims, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
  5. Identify potential fraud or suspicious activity and take appropriate action.
  6. Negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys in a professional and effective manner.
  7. Collaborate with internal teams, such as underwriting and legal, to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  8. Maintain accurate and detailed claim records and provide updates to management and other stakeholders as needed.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, legal developments, and best practices related to complex casualty claims.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and addressing concerns from policyholders and other stakeholders.
  11. Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality of claims handling.
  12. Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to junior claims associates as needed.
  13. Adhere to company guidelines and regulatory requirements to ensure ethical and compliant claims handling.
  14. Represent the company in a professional manner and uphold the company's values and standards at all times.
  15. Continuously develop and enhance skills and knowledge through training and professional development opportunities.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Complex Casualty Claims Handling: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Complex Casualty Insurance Policies, Including General Liability, Workers' Compensation, And Commercial Auto.

  • Extensive Experience In Claims Investigation And Resolution: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Handling Complex Casualty Claims, With A Proven Track Record Of Effectively Investigating And Resolving High-Value And Multi-Party Claims.

  • Strong Negotiation And Communication Skills: As A Complex Casualty Claims Specialist, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Negotiating With Multiple Parties Involved In A Claim, Including Attorneys, Medical Professionals, And Other Insurance Companies. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills Are Essential.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills To Assess Complex Claims And Identify Potential Issues. They Should Also Be Able To Think Critically And Develop Effective Strategies To Resolve Claims.
