- Conduct on-site appraisals of complex insurance claims to accurately assess damages and determine coverage.
- Work closely with customers, insurance agents, and other parties involved in the claims process to provide exceptional customer service.
- Investigate and evaluate claims to determine liability and negotiate settlements with claimants.
- Use industry knowledge and company policies to make fair and informed decisions on claims.
- Document all claim activities, including investigations, evaluations, and settlements.
- Provide timely and thorough updates to customers and stakeholders on the status of their claims.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure efficient and effective claims resolution.
- Keep up-to-date on industry trends, laws, and regulations related to insurance claims.
- Identify and escalate any potential fraud or suspicious claims to the appropriate department.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all claim-related tasks.
- Meet or exceed performance metrics and goals set by the company.
- Continuously seek ways to improve processes and provide better customer experiences.
Knowledge Of Insurance Claims Process: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Insurance Claims Process, Including Appraisal Procedures, To Effectively Resolve Claims In The Field.
Strong Communication Skills: As A Claims Resolution Specialist, Field Appraisal, The Ability To Communicate Clearly And Effectively With Policyholders, Adjusters, And Other Stakeholders Is Essential To Successfully Negotiate And Settle Claims.
Attention To Detail: This Role Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail To Accurately Assess Damages And Determine The Appropriate Settlement Amount.
Analytical And Problem-Solving Abilities: A Successful Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills To Evaluate Complex Claims And Identify Potential Issues, As Well As The Ability To Think Critically And Develop Solutions To Resolve Disagreements.
Prior Experience In Appraisal Or Field Adjusting: Previous Experience In Insurance Appraisal Or Field Adjusting Is Preferred, As It Demonstrates The Necessary Knowledge And Expertise To Handle Claims In The Field.
