
Chief Data & Analytics Officer, Investments
Propose and build the go-forward structure and operating model for the Data & Analytics Office. The existing virtual organization includes 6 data owners (organized by subject area) and another ~15 data stewards. Define the multi-year strategic roadmap for data & analytics by collaborating with the business and technology leaders to define scope, priorities, and implementation plan with a “one portfolio” mindset. Has primary responsibility for data governance, data strategy, data solutions, data quality standards, and maintaining data to support analytics across the firm. Ensure data integrity and quality by governing the aggregation, monitoring, testing, metadata management and implementation and adoption of the LMI Data Catalog. Provide transparency into planning and funding of data & analytics initiatives that impact the roadmap.
Minimum of ten years in a leadership role with at least seven years’ experience in strategic data management roles
Experience and interest in the investment domain (asset classes, portfolio construction, fundamental research, quantitative analysis, and trading)
Strong experience building out, articulating, and delivering on business cases around data use and/or a data-centric business strategy
Experience with data science tooling and ecosystems, delivery of data discovery and data analytic solutions, and statistical libraries
