  1. Develop and implement actuarial models and methods to accurately assess and manage risk for Liberty Mutual Insurance.
  2. Analyze complex data and trends to provide insightful and accurate projections for future risk and insurance premiums.
  3. Collaborate with other departments and teams to incorporate actuarial insights into business decisions and strategies.
  4. Continuously monitor and evaluate the financial performance of insurance products and make recommendations for improvements.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and inform business decisions.
  6. Communicate complex actuarial concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  7. Mentor and provide guidance to junior actuaries and support their professional development.
  8. Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and improvement within the insurance business.
  9. Review and approve policy and pricing changes to ensure accuracy and profitability.
  10. Proactively identify and address potential risks and issues that may impact the business.
  11. Collaborate with other senior leaders to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives.
  12. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all actuarial work.
  13. Adhere to ethical standards and actuarial best practices in all work.
  14. Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to stay current on industry trends and best practices.
  15. Continuously seek out opportunities for improvement and innovation within the actuarial function.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 5 Years Of Experience In The Insurance Industry, With A Focus On Actuarial Analysis.

  • Associate Or Fellow Designation From The Society Of Actuaries.

  • Advanced Knowledge Of Actuarial Principles, Statistical Modeling Techniques, And Programming Languages Such As Sas Or R.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, As Well As The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
