  1. Develop and maintain actuarial models to support business decisions and ensure accuracy and consistency of data.
  2. Conduct analysis and provide insights to support the development of pricing, reserving, and risk management strategies.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, marketing, and finance, to develop and implement data-driven solutions.
  4. Utilize advanced data mining and statistical techniques to identify trends and patterns in large data sets.
  5. Communicate complex actuarial concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  6. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data science and actuarial science to continuously improve processes and methodologies.
  7. Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  8. Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards, including timely and accurate reporting.
  9. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  10. Support the development and implementation of new products and initiatives.
  11. Collaborate with external vendors and partners to leverage data and technology to enhance business processes and decision-making.
  12. Adhere to company values and uphold professional and ethical standards in all business interactions.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Or A Related Field.

  • Professional Certification As An Actuary (E.g. Associateship Or Fellowship In The Society Of Actuaries).

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Data Science, Preferably In The Insurance Industry.

  • Strong Analytical Skills And Proficiency In Statistical And Data Analysis Tools (E.g. Sas, R, Python).

  • Familiarity With Reserving Methods And Techniques For Property And Casualty Insurance Products.
