Coordinate process walk-throughs with functional business partners and external auditors. Coordinate annual internal and external audit cycles, working with internal departments to manage the audit schedule, monitor progress, provide timely responses, and submit appropriate documentation. Development of action plans to remediate control deficiencies. Identify areas of improvement in existing process methodology and policies. Identify gaps and recommend enhancements. Create and update process flowcharts/narratives, Risk Control Matrix, etc. Identify internal control and audit issues and perform root cause analysis with practical corrective solutions. Frequent communication with internal departments, HQ, and external auditor. Responsible for all year around operations of the internal accounting control audit.
