Job Description

Welcome to Lenovo, where innovation meets cutting-edge technology. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Lenovo User Experience Exploration (LUXE) Intern. As a LUXE Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced team of designers, researchers, and engineers to explore and improve the user experience of our products. This is a hands-on role where you will have the chance to dive deep into the world of user-centered design and contribute to the development of our next generation of products. We are looking for someone with a passion for technology, a strong understanding of user experience principles, and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. If you are a creative problem-solver with a keen eye for detail, we want you on our team.

  1. Conduct user research and gather insights to inform product design decisions
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute user-centered design strategies
  3. Participate in brainstorming and ideation sessions to generate innovative design concepts
  4. Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate design ideas and gather feedback
  5. Conduct usability testing and analyze results to identify areas for improvement
  6. Research and stay updated on industry trends and best practices in user experience design
  7. Contribute to the development of design guidelines and standards for consistent user experiences across products
  8. Work closely with designers, researchers, and engineers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of design solutions
  9. Present design concepts and recommendations to stakeholders and incorporate feedback into designs
  10. Assist with project management tasks such as scheduling, tracking progress, and communicating updates to team members
  11. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and optimize the user experience of Lenovo products
  12. Maintain a high level of attention to detail and ensure design solutions align with brand and product goals
  13. Actively participate in team meetings and contribute ideas and suggestions to improve processes and workflows.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Understanding Of User-Centered Design Principles: As A Luxe Intern, You Will Be Responsible For Conducting User Research, Creating Wireframes And Prototypes, And Conducting Usability Testing. A Deep Understanding Of User-Centered Design Principles Is Essential To Excel In This Role.

  • Proficiency In Design Tools And Software: The Luxe Intern Will Work Closely With The Design Team To Create Innovative And User-Friendly Interfaces. Proficiency In Design Tools And Software Such As Sketch, Figma, Or Adobe Creative Suite Is Necessary To Effectively Collaborate And Contribute To Projects.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Member Of The Luxe Team, You Will Need To Communicate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders. Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills, As Well As The Ability To Collaborate In A Fast-Paced Environment, Are Essential For This Role.

  • Passion For Technology And User Experience: Lenovo Is A Technology Company, And A Passion For Technology And User Experience Is A Must For A Luxe Intern. The Ideal Candidate Will Have A Strong Interest In The Latest Trends And Advancements In Technology And A Desire To Create Exceptional User Experiences.

  • Previous Experience In User Research And Design: Prior Experience In Conducting User Research And Creating Design Deliverables Such As Wireframes And Prototypes Is Highly Desirable For This Role. A Portfolio Showcasing Your Design And Research Skills Will Be Valuable In The Application Process.
