  1. Develop and implement comprehensive safety and environmental programs and policies to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company standards.
  2. Conduct regular safety and environmental audits to identify and address potential hazards and risks.
  3. Conduct thorough investigations of any accidents, incidents, or near misses and make recommendations for corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  4. Train and educate employees at all levels on safety and environmental procedures, protocols, and best practices.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-effective solutions for improving safety and environmental performance.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry standards, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve the company's safety and environmental programs.
  7. Lead emergency preparedness and response planning to ensure the safety and well-being of all employees in the event of an emergency.
  8. Oversee the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials and waste in compliance with all regulations.
  9. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety and environmental practices and incidents.
  10. Serve as the main point of contact for all safety and environmental concerns and inquiries from employees, customers, and regulatory agencies.
  11. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  12. Monitor and report on key safety and environmental performance indicators to senior management.
  13. Foster a culture of safety and environmental awareness within the company through effective communication and engagement strategies.
  14. Manage the safety and environmental budget, including identifying cost-saving opportunities and managing expenses.
  15. Other duties as assigned by senior management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Safety And Health, Environmental Science, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Safety And Environmental Management, Preferably In The Construction Industry.

  • Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Safety And Environmental Regulations And Standards.

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills To Effectively Train And Manage A Team.

  • Experience In Developing And Implementing Safety And Environmental Policies And Procedures.
