- Oversee and manage the payroll department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee payments.
- Lead and supervise a team of payroll professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Develop and implement payroll procedures and policies to ensure compliance with company and legal requirements.
- Review and audit payroll data and reports to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain and update employee records and payroll information in a timely and organized manner.
- Communicate with employees, managers, and other departments to address any payroll-related inquiries or concerns.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations and make necessary adjustments to processes.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to management for review and approval.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure payroll data is integrated and shared accurately.
- Manage and maintain relationships with external payroll vendors and other relevant partners.
- Continuously evaluate and improve payroll processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide regular performance evaluations and feedback to team members.
- Handle any escalated issues or disputes related to payroll.
- Serve as a point of contact for audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of employee information and payroll data.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources Or A Related Field: A Supervisor Of Payroll Must Possess A Strong Understanding Of Hr Principles And Practices, As Well As Relevant Laws And Regulations.
Previous Experience In Payroll Administration: Lear Corporation Would Likely Prefer A Candidate With Previous Experience Handling Payroll Tasks, Such As Processing Timesheets, Calculating Wages And Taxes, And Managing Employee Records.
