As a Senior Buyer, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain management, ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of electronic components for our products.   1. Procurement and Sourcing: Responsible for sourcing, selecting, negotiating and purchasing electronic components from suppliers to meet the company's needs.
  2. Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of electronic components.
  3. Cost Management: Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers to meet budgetary goals.
  4. Supply Chain Management: Coordinate with other teams such as engineering, production, and quality control to ensure smooth supply chain processes and timely delivery of electronic components.
  5. Market Analysis: Stay updated on the latest market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supplier capabilities to make informed purchasing decisions.
  6. Contract and Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements in all procurement activities.
  7. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate any disruptions in the supply chain.
  8. Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  9. Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior buyers to support their professional growth and development.
  10. Quality Control: Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure the quality and reliability of electronic components procured from suppliers.
  11. Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for electronic component procurement activities and monitor expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  12. Communication and Reporting: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and provide regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings achieved.
  13. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to optimize procurement processes and enhance the overall performance of the electronics division.
