Quality Engineer
Welcome to Lear Corporation, a leading global supplier of automotive seating and electrical systems. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Quality Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through rigorous testing and analysis. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and has a strong understanding of quality control processes. - Conduct quality testing and analysis of automotive seating and electrical systems to ensure they meet industry standards and customer requirements.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and processes to identify and prevent defects in products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and supply chain, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor product performance and conduct root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Communicate quality concerns and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance in product design and manufacturing.
- Create and maintain quality documentation, including test reports, inspection records, and quality assurance procedures.
- Train and educate employees on quality control processes and procedures.
- Conduct supplier audits and work with suppliers to improve product quality.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction related to quality control.
- Act as a liaison between the company and customers to address any quality concerns and provide technical support.
- Participate in product development and design reviews to ensure quality is built into the product from the beginning.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all safety and quality standards.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field: A Quality Engineer At Lear Corporation Should Have A Strong Educational Background In Engineering Or A Related Discipline To Understand The Technical Aspects Of The Job.
Quality Management And Problem-Solving Skills: Lear Corporation's Quality Engineer Should Possess Excellent Quality Management Skills To Identify And Resolve Issues That Arise During The Manufacturing Process.
Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations: A Quality Engineer At Lear Corporation Should Be Familiar With Industry Standards And Regulations Related To Quality Control And Assurance To Ensure Compliance And Maintain Product Quality.
Experience With Quality Assurance Tools And Techniques: Candidates For This Role Should Have Experience With Quality Assurance Tools And Techniques Such As Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, And Statistical Process Control To Continuously Improve Product Quality And Efficiency.
Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills: As A Quality Engineer, The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Team Members And Stakeholders Is Crucial For Ensuring Quality Standards Are Met. Teamwork And Collaboration Are Also Necessary To Address Quality Issues And Implement Improvements.
