- Lead and manage a team of process engineers to ensure efficient and effective development and implementation of manufacturing processes for the TRIM division.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain process standards and best practices.
- Analyze current processes and identify areas for improvement, implementing necessary changes to increase efficiency and quality.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and training materials.
- Monitor and analyze process performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and track progress.
- Mentor and train team members on process engineering techniques and best practices.
- Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of process improvement initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in process engineering to continuously improve processes and stay competitive.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all process engineering activities.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as design and production, to ensure seamless integration of processes and products.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering: A Process Engineering Supervisor At Lear Corporation Must Hold A Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field, Such As Mechanical, Electrical, Or Chemical Engineering.
Previous Supervisory Experience: Lear Corporation Requires A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Previous Supervisory Experience In A Manufacturing Or Engineering Environment. This Experience Should Include Managing A Team Of Engineers And Leading Process Improvement Projects.
Knowledge Of Lean Manufacturing Principles: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Lean Manufacturing Principles And Methodologies, Such As Six Sigma And Kaizen. This Knowledge Is Essential For Driving Process Improvements And Efficiency Within The Manufacturing Plant.
Experience With Trim Systems: Lear Corporation Utilizes The Trim (Tooling Requirements And Inventory Management) System For Managing Tooling And Equipment. Therefore, The Process Engineering Supervisor Should Have Previous Experience Working With Trim Or Similar Inventory Management Systems.
Strong Communication And Leadership Skills: As A Supervisor, Effective Communication And Leadership Skills Are Crucial For Success In This Role. The Process Engineering Supervisor Must Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Team Members, Management, And Other Departments To Drive Process Improvements And Meet Production Goals.
