
Payroll Specialist

- Process payroll for all employees accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including deductions, bonuses, and taxes.
- Work closely with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll.
- Monitor and review payroll reports to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations and make necessary adjustments to ensure compliance.
- Ensure confidentiality of payroll information and handle sensitive employee data with discretion.
- Coordinate with finance team to ensure accurate and timely payment of payroll taxes.
- Assist with year-end payroll processes, including generating W-2 forms and reconciling payroll records.
- Provide excellent customer service to employees, addressing any concerns or questions related to payroll.
- Assist in developing and implementing new payroll processes or procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and files for auditing purposes.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during payroll audits.
- Train and mentor new team members on payroll processes and procedures.
- Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned by management.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Payroll Processing, Preferably In A Large, Multi-State Organization.
Strong Understanding Of Payroll Laws And Regulations, Including Federal And State Tax Laws, Wage And Hour Laws, And Employment Tax Reporting.
Proficiency In Payroll Software, Such As Adp Or Ultipro, And Ms Excel.
Excellent Attention To Detail, Accuracy, And Ability To Meet Strict Deadlines.
