As a Materials Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of materials to support our production operations.   1. Develop and implement material planning strategies to ensure timely delivery of materials to support production operations.
  2. Analyze inventory levels, supplier lead times, and forecasted demand to determine the appropriate quantity and timing of material orders.
  3. Monitor and track material orders to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any delays or issues that may arise.
  4. Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, lead times, and quality standards to optimize material procurement.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of material inventory levels, purchases, and deliveries.
  6. Identify and communicate any potential material shortages or supply chain risks to management and develop contingency plans to mitigate impact.
  7. Continuously assess and improve material planning processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  8. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and quality control, to ensure a smooth and seamless flow of materials.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to proactively identify cost-saving opportunities and potential risks.
  10. Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations in the handling and transportation of materials.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Resolve Supply Chain Issues.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Materials Planning, Preferably In The Automotive Industry.

  • Proficiency In Using Materials Planning Software And Erp Systems, Such As Sap Or Oracle.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Build Relationships With Suppliers.
