Job Description

Welcome to Lear Corporation, a leading global supplier of automotive seating and electrical systems. We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on the 2nd shift. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our production lines operate at peak efficiency by providing prompt and effective maintenance support.   1. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions to identify root causes and implement timely and effective solutions.
  3. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and systems to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
  4. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement them as needed.
  5. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and maintenance schedules.
  6. Order and maintain an inventory of spare parts and equipment to ensure timely repairs and replacements.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  8. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize disruption to production.
  9. Stay up-to-date with advancements in technology and equipment to continuously improve maintenance processes and procedures.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow proper maintenance procedures to ensure the highest level of quality and efficiency.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Maintenance Technician-2Nd Shift Should Have A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education To Demonstrate Basic Technical Knowledge And Skills.

  • Technical Training Or Certification: Candidates Should Possess Technical Training Or Certification In Areas Such As Electrical, Mechanical, Or Industrial Maintenance To Perform Specialized Tasks.

  • Previous Maintenance Experience: Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Maintenance Experience In An Industrial Or Manufacturing Setting, Preferably In The Automotive Industry, To Understand The Equipment And Processes Involved.

  • Knowledge Of Safety Procedures: A Maintenance Technician-2Nd Shift Should Have Comprehensive Knowledge Of Safety Regulations, Procedures, And Practices To Ensure A Safe Working Environment For Themselves And Others.

  • Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills: The Position Requires The Ability To Identify, Diagnose, And Resolve Mechanical, Electrical, And Hydraulic Issues Quickly And Efficiently To Minimize Equipment Downtime.
