  1. Lead and manage a team of engineers to drive innovation and deliver results in product and systems development.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cutting-edge products and systems for our customers.
  3. Utilize strong technical knowledge and experience to provide guidance and mentorship to the engineering team.
  4. Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
  5. Monitor and track project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and provide regular updates to upper management.
  6. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity within the engineering team.
  7. Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to understand customer needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  8. Manage relationships with external partners and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of components and materials.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in engineering and product development to drive continuous improvement.
  10. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and encouraging professional growth and development within the team.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or Related Field: A Strong Educational Background In Engineering Is Crucial For An Engineering Manager At Lear Corporation. This Could Include Degrees In Mechanical, Electrical, Or Industrial Engineering, Among Others.

  • Previous Experience In Product/Systems Engineering: Lear Corporation Is A Global Leader In Automotive Seating And Electrical Systems, So Experience In Product/Systems Engineering Is A Must For This Role. This Could Include Experience In Automotive Or Other Related Industries.

  • Leadership And Management Skills: As An Engineering Manager, This Role Requires Strong Leadership And Management Skills To Effectively Lead A Team Of Engineers And Ensure Projects Are Completed On Time And Within Budget.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations: Lear Corporation Operates In A Highly Regulated Industry, So A Strong Understanding Of Industry Standards And Regulations Is Necessary For An Engineering Manager To Ensure Compliance And Safety In Product/System Design.

  • Strong Communication And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Ability To Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams Is Essential For An Engineering Manager.
