- Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Provide guidance and support to all levels of the organization on EHS related matters.
- Conduct training and educational programs for employees on safety procedures and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain a culture of safety throughout the organization.
- Manage and maintain safety records and reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Investigate and report on all workplace accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing preventative measures.
- Monitor and evaluate workplace hazards and risks, making recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date on EHS laws and regulations and communicate any changes or updates to the organization.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external EHS agencies and vendors.
- Lead emergency response and crisis management planning and procedures.
- Identify and implement sustainable initiatives to reduce the company's environmental impact.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure EHS considerations are integrated into new processes and projects.
- Conduct and participate in EHS committee meetings and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Continuously strive to improve EHS performance and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility throughout the organization.
Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Health And Safety, Environmental Science, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Automotive Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Local, State, And Federal Environmental, Health, And Safety Regulations.
Experience In Conducting Risk Assessments, Developing Safety Protocols, And Implementing Ehs Programs.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Train And Educate Employees On Ehs Protocols And Procedures.
