  1. Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures in accordance with local and global regulations.
  2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with EHS standards.
  3. Provide guidance and support to management and employees on EHS matters, including training and education programs.
  4. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  5. Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures to mitigate potential risks.
  6. Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and track progress towards goals.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into business processes and projects.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory changes to continuously improve EHS programs.
  9. Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management strategies to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses.
  10. Act as a liaison with external agencies and stakeholders on EHS-related matters.
  11. Ensure proper storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous materials and waste in compliance with regulations.
  12. Support the development and maintenance of a strong safety culture through proactive communication and engagement with employees.
  13. Participate in incident investigations and contribute to the development of corrective and preventive actions.
  14. Assist with the development and coordination of EHS training programs for employees at all levels.
  15. Maintain accurate and up-to-date EHS records and documentation.
  16. Proactively identify and address potential EHS risks and issues, and recommend solutions to mitigate them.
  17. Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for EHS-related inquiries and concerns.
  18. Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory agencies during audits and inspections.
  19. Lead and participate in EHS committees and initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
  20. Promote a culture of safety and sustainability throughout the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Occupational Health And Safety, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In The Automotive Or Manufacturing Industry.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Environmental And Safety Regulations.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Train And Educate Employees On Ehs Policies And Procedures.

  • Professional Certifications Such As Certified Safety Professional (Csp) Or Certified Industrial Hygienist (Cih) Are Preferred.
