  1. Develop, implement, and maintain EH&S programs and policies to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver EH&S training programs for employees.
  4. Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and develop strategies for prevention.
  5. Monitor and track EH&S performance metrics and provide regular reports to management.
  6. Stay up-to-date on all relevant EH&S regulations and make recommendations for process improvements to ensure compliance.
  7. Conduct risk assessments and develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  8. Work closely with local authorities and regulatory agencies to maintain necessary permits and licenses.
  9. Act as a resource for employees on EH&S related matters and provide guidance and support as needed.
  10. Lead emergency response and crisis management initiatives to ensure the safety and well-being of all employees.
  11. Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to ensure compliance with EH&S requirements.
  12. Drive a culture of safety by promoting awareness and accountability throughout the organization.
  13. Participate in continuous improvement activities and make recommendations for enhancing EH&S processes.
  14. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to EH&S activities.
  15. Serve as a liaison between the company and external EH&S organizations and stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Occupational Health And Safety, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Eh&S Management, Preferably In The Automotive Industry.

  • Knowledge Of Local, State, And Federal Environmental Regulations And Compliance Requirements.

  • Strong Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Professional Certifications Such As Certified Safety Professional (Csp) Or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (Chmm) Are Preferred.
