- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EH&S policies and procedures in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions for EH&S concerns.
- Provide training and education to employees on EH&S best practices and procedures.
- Investigate and report on workplace incidents and develop corrective action plans to prevent future occurrences.
- Monitor and track EH&S metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant EH&S regulations and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal requirements.
- Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory agencies, responding to inquiries and participating in audits and inspections.
- Coordinate with external consultants and contractors to ensure EH&S compliance and completion of required projects.
- Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement by promoting EH&S initiatives and engaging employees at all levels.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop emergency response plans to mitigate potential hazards.
- Communicate EH&S updates, policies, and procedures to all employees and ensure their understanding and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to EH&S activities and incidents.
- Participate in EH&S committees and represent the company in industry-related events and conferences.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the EH&S program through data analysis and feedback from employees and management.
Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Occupational Safety And Health, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Eh&S Management, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Automotive Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Federal And State Environmental, Health, And Safety Regulations.
Experience In Developing And Implementing Eh&S Programs And Policies.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Train And Educate Employees On Eh&S Best Practices.
