1. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EH&S policies and procedures in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulations.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions for EH&S concerns.
4. Provide training and education to employees on EH&S best practices and procedures.
5. Investigate and report on workplace incidents and develop corrective action plans to prevent future occurrences.
6. Monitor and track EH&S metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
7. Stay up-to-date on relevant EH&S regulations and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal requirements.
8. Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory agencies, responding to inquiries and participating in audits and inspections.
9. Coordinate with external consultants and contractors to ensure EH&S compliance and completion of required projects.
10. Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement by promoting EH&S initiatives and engaging employees at all levels.
11. Conduct risk assessments and develop emergency response plans to mitigate potential hazards.
12. Communicate EH&S updates, policies, and procedures to all employees and ensure their understanding and compliance.
13. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to EH&S activities and incidents.
14. Participate in EH&S committees and represent the company in industry-related events and conferences.
15. Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the EH&S program through data analysis and feedback from employees and management.
