- Develop and implement company-wide EH&S policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Lead and coordinate safety training programs for all employees, including new hire orientations and ongoing training sessions.
- Collaborate with department managers to develop and maintain job-specific EH&S protocols and procedures.
- Conduct investigations and root cause analyses of accidents and incidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Stay up-to-date on all relevant EH&S regulations and industry best practices, and communicate any changes or updates to management and employees.
- Manage all aspects of environmental compliance, including air and water quality, hazardous waste disposal, and pollution control.
- Develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans and procedures to ensure a timely and effective response to any potential incidents.
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of all EH&S activities, including incident reports, training records, and safety data sheets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the company's EH&S performance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all EH&S related inquiries and concerns from employees, management, and regulatory agencies.
- Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory agencies during inspections and audits.
- Develop and manage the EH&S budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented to maintain compliance and promote a safe work environment.
- Conduct regular communication and training sessions with employees to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment where employees feel comfortable reporting safety concerns and participating in EH&S initiatives.
Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Occupational Health And Safety, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Eh&S Role, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Automotive Industry.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Osha Regulations, Environmental Laws, And Industry Standards.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Manage A Team.
Experience In Developing And Implementing Safety Programs, Conducting Audits And Risk Assessments, And Managing Incident Investigations.
