Job Description

LabCorp is currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Support Services Supervisor to join our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our laboratory services. The successful candidate will be an organized, capable leader who is detail-oriented and dedicated to providing outstanding customer service.To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of three years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the healthcare or laboratory services industry. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent problem solving and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You must be comfortable taking initiative and making decisions independently.If you are an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual looking to join a dynamic team, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the laboratory services.
  2. Ensure excellent customer service standards.
  3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations.
  4. Monitor employee performance and provide feedback to ensure that all team members are meeting or exceeding expectations.
  5. Troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently.
  6. Develop and implement training and development programs for staff.
  7. Create and manage budgets and other financial reports.
  8. Manage and coordinate special projects.
  9. Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and other partners.
  10. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
