Job Description

The Support Services Supervisor role at LabCorp provides a great opportunity for a highly organized individual with excellent problem-solving and communication skills to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a laboratory or clinical environment. They will be a team-oriented leader who is able to motivate and manage a staff of support personnel. The successful candidate will have a customer service mindset, an eye for detail, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and manage a staff of support personnel.
  2. Ensure that all laboratory operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
  3. Provide effective customer service to both internal and external customers.
  4. Identify and resolve any issues or concerns that arise in the laboratory.
  5. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  6. Develop and implement strategies to improve laboratory operations.
  7. Train and mentor support staff on laboratory procedures and protocols.
  8. Monitor staff performance and provide feedback as needed.
  9. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  10. Document and maintain records of all laboratory operations.
