
Sr Specimen Processing Specialist
We are looking for a talented and passionate Sr Specimen Processing Specialist to join the team at LabCorp! As the Sr Specimen Processing Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing specimen processing operations and ensuring a high level of accuracy and quality. You should have a strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to ensure the highest level of customer service.To be successful in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience working in a clinical laboratory setting, be certified as a Medical Technologist, have a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related field, and be knowledgeable and experienced in specimen processing. You should also have strong communication and problem-solving skills, be able to multitask efficiently, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. As the Sr Specimen Processing Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
• Overseeing specimen processing operations to ensure accuracy and quality
• Ensuring customer service is provided at the highest level
• Maintaining strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Having at least 5 years of clinical laboratory experience • Being certified as a Medical Technologist • Having a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related field • Being knowledgeable and experienced in specimen processing • Having strong communication and problem-solving skills • Being able to multitask efficiently • Working comfortably in a fast-paced environment • Assisting with the development and implementation of new processes and procedures
