  1. Accurately and efficiently handle and process patient specimens in accordance with laboratory protocols and procedures.
  2. Adhere to strict quality control and quality assurance measures to ensure accurate results.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent contamination and ensure the integrity of specimens.
  4. Perform data entry and accurately record all necessary information related to specimen processing.
  5. Utilize proper labeling and tracking techniques to ensure proper specimen identification and traceability.
  6. Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and manage workload to meet turnaround times.
  7. Communicate effectively with laboratory staff and healthcare providers to resolve any issues or discrepancies with specimens.
  8. Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with all laboratory regulations and standards.
  9. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with laboratory procedures and best practices.
  10. Continuously seek ways to improve processes and increase efficiency in specimen handling and processing.
