We are looking for an individual who is a great communicator, organized, and detail-oriented.The successful candidate will need to have a High School diploma or GED with at least one year of experience in a healthcare or laboratory setting. A medical assistant or phlebotomy certification is highly desirable. Responsibilities:

1. Accurately and timely accession specimens into laboratory information system.
2. Maintain accurate records of specimen accessioning.
3. Communicate with other healthcare and laboratory personnel to ensure successful specimen accessioning.
4. Operate laboratory equipment such as computers and laboratory information systems.
5. Monitor specimen accessioning processes and procedures and suggest improvements.
6. Process and track specimens for delivery to other laboratories.
7. Assist with other laboratory duties as needed.
8. Participate in training sessions and meetings.
9. Follow laboratory safety and security protocols.
