Job Description

LabCorp is looking for an innovative and passionate R&D Molecular Infectious Disease Intern to join our team! The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work at the forefront of molecular infectious disease research and development in a lab setting.The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, or a related field, and have some experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, and/or immunology. An aptitude for laboratory work and excellent problem-solving abilities are essential. An interest in infectious diseases and an eagerness to learn new methods and techniques is a must.We are looking for someone who is creative and enthusiastic with a dedication to finding solutions to challenging problems. You must be able to work both independently and collaboratively, be highly organized, and able to interpret data quickly and accurately. Your ability to communicate effectively and write technical reports will be highly valued.If you think you have the qualifications, skills, and enthusiasm to excel in this role, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities: -Perform research and development activities in a lab setting related to molecular infectious diseases -Conduct experiments using molecular biology, biochemistry, and/or immunology techniques -Interpret data quickly and accurately -Develop creative solutions to challenging problems -Work independently and collaboratively -Communicate effectively and write technical reports -Stay organized and up-to-date on the latest research and developments in the field of molecular infectious diseases
