- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate specimen collection and processing.
- Accurately record and report patient and specimen information in accordance with laboratory procedures.
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the phlebotomy process, escalating to the appropriate personnel if needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Attend trainings and stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices in phlebotomy.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by laboratory management.
Completion Of An Accredited Phlebotomy Training Program
Certification As A Phlebotomy Technician (Cpt) Through A Recognized Agency Such As Ascp Or Amt
At Least 1 Year Of Experience Working As A Phlebotomist In A Clinical Or Laboratory Setting
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Phlebotomy Techniques, Safety Procedures, And Medical Terminology
Excellent Interpersonal And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Interact Professionally With Patients And Healthcare Providers.
