- Maintain inventory and order necessary supplies for the phlebotomy department.
- Contribute to a positive and professional work environment by working collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors.
Certification In Phlebotomy: Labcorp Requires All Phlebotomists To Hold A Valid Certification In Phlebotomy From A Recognized Institution.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology: A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology Is Essential For Accurately Labeling And Documenting Blood Samples.
Experience With Venipuncture And Specimen Collection: Labcorp Requires At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience In Venipuncture And Specimen Collection, Including The Use Of Vacutainer Tubes And Butterfly Needles.
Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills: As A Phlebotomist, You Will Be Interacting With Patients On A Daily Basis, So Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills Are Necessary.
Attention To Detail And Accuracy: The Ability To Follow Strict Protocols And Accurately Label And Document Samples Is Crucial In This Role To Ensure The Integrity Of Test Results.
