Phlebotomist

The successful candidate will be an integral part of our laboratory team, responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients and delivering accurate and timely results.The ideal candidate should have experience in venipuncture, capillary collection, specimen collection, and accurate labeling of specimens. Additionally, we are looking for an individual with excellent organizational, customer service, and communication skills, as well as a professional demeanor. The successful candidate should also be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality control.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform venipuncture and capillary collections in a safe and efficient manner.
2. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines for specimen collection.
3. Label and store specimens according to established procedures.
4. Maintain accurate records of specimen collection and results.
5. Provide excellent customer service to patients and other medical professionals.
6. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, healthcare providers, and laboratory personnel.
7. Ensure all patient specimens are collected and delivered in a timely manner.
8. Monitor and maintain laboratory supplies and materials.
9. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay up-to-date with phlebotomy techniques.
10. Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
