Responsibilities:

1. Research and analyze payroll tax issues and requirements to ensure compliance with relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
2. Utilize accounting and payroll software to track payroll taxes and ensure accuracy of data.
3. Monitor changes in applicable laws and regulations and update payroll tax processes accordingly.
4. Assist in the preparation of payroll tax returns and other related documentation.
5. Perform audits to ensure accuracy of payroll taxes.
6. Prepare payroll tax reports for internal and external stakeholders.
7. Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding payroll taxes.
8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll tax regulations, principles, and processes.
9. Collaborate with other departments to ensure payroll tax processing is accurate and compliant.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
