Job Description

LabCorp is seeking an experienced Pathologist to join our team and provide the highest quality of patient care. As a Pathologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of diseases and disorders.This position requires a Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited university, and board certification in anatomic and clinical pathology. In addition to your medical credentials, you must have excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work as part of a team.If you are passionate about providing the best possible care to patients, and are looking for an opportunity to make an impact, we would love to have you as part of our team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Diagnose and treat a variety of diseases and disorders.
  2. Interpret laboratory tests and analyze patient data to ensure accurate diagnosis.
  3. Provide patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
  4. Maintain accurate records and reports of patient care activities.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans.
  6. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
  7. Educate patients and their families on diagnosis and treatment options.
  8. Remain current on medical advances and trends in the field.
  9. Participate in research activities as needed.
  10. Adhere to all safety and legal regulations.
