Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pathologist to join LabCorp’s team. This position is ideal for a highly skilled individual who is passionate about providing superior patient care and advancing the field of pathology. Our ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of laboratory medicine and pathology, as well as an understanding of the clinical relevance of laboratory data to patient care.The successful candidate will be a licensed Pathologist with an MD degree and board certification in Anatomic Pathology. In addition, they will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a professional manner. The Pathologist should have the ability to interpret difficult and complex data, be organized and detail-oriented, and have a commitment to providing quality patient care.

Responsibilities: • Provide accurate laboratory diagnoses based on evaluation of tissue samples • Maintain accurate documentation of laboratory results • Collaborate with other medical professionals to discuss and interpret laboratory results • Ensure adherence to laboratory safety and quality control standards • Train and supervise laboratory personnel • Participate in continuing medical education and research activities • Consult with other pathologists and clinical staff to provide patient care • Promote quality patient care and service excellence
