Responsibilities:

1. Perform laboratory testing and analysis of clinical specimens for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.
2. Maintain laboratory safety regulations and standards.
3. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and computers.
4. Record and report data and results.
5. Collaborate with other laboratory technologists in order to ensure accuracy of testing.
6. Maintain laboratory supplies and materials.
7. Monitor laboratory environment and take appropriate action to ensure sterility, cleanliness, and safety.
8. Perform regular quality assurance and quality control procedures.
9. Troubleshoot and solve laboratory-related problems.
10. Keep up to date with advances in the field by reading scientific literature and attending relevant conferences and seminars.
